Our previous Northern AZ Sustainable Living Fairs were grassroots events focused on community education about sustainable choices and fun, an outreach to people of all ages. While planning this year's event, it became apparent that there are more and more events like ours in northern Arizona that provide attendees with sustainable product and services information. In line with our Association's mission to educate our community about living more sustainably, we have evolved our next event to dig a little deeper in addressing the ways we can each live more sustainably daily. This event will include hands-on workshops, classroom teachings, round table discussions, and vendor displays in an atmosphere dedicated to learning. Our organization is continuing to move closer to our mission of giving the Northern Arizona community 'tools' to make the changes they want see. Details will be provided in the coming weeks on how you can be a workshop leader, teacher, or attendee.
Workshops will be centered on the following six topics:
Building, Food, Consumer Choices, Transportation, Energy, & Finance

The current state of our economy has highlighted many flaws in the socio-economic model it was built on. Now is the perfect time to reflect on how to transform the way we make lifestyle choices, and on how to make future choices that will build a strong, sustainable economy, community AND environment.
Our next event will have more "hands-on" workshops and interactive discussions focused on the things each of us can do to lessen our impact on our planet while still living a fulfilling, comfortable and healthy life.
We hope to see you all again this year!
